Abel Tasman National Parc
I spent one day in Abel Tasman. One day is too short. The best thing is to spend few days, camping on the beach, swimming in the sea, under a warm sunny sky...
For me, it was a cloudy day! - Aotearoa, the Maori name for New Zealand means "big white cloud". Common sense! ;) - So I didn't see the golden beach with blue sea but grey beach on grey sea... but I can imagine! And the site is still AWESOME!

Earthquake in Christchurch 2
The earthquake destroyed all the historical center, the city heart.
I didn’t take photo of the mess and prefer to add these 2 photo !
Some people left the town. Other are still here, re-building. Can you imagine if your own house, your familly house, falls and becomes ash and no-one can help you. What will you do ?
Leave and forget ?
Or stay and re-build but remember ? And taking the risk this disaster happens again ?
Personnally, I think I would leave the place and forget… If everybody leaves Christchurch, it will become a ghost city. If you like your city, it’s not what you want.
Some people are re-building. Temporary shop are in coloured boat container and life continues.
These people are very brave and have a lot of energy.
